MY ESOTERIC ABODE

Well, valentines day isnt just meant for couples and lovers its for everyone to celebrate and enjoy. Today I celebrated it with my lola and uncle. My original plan was to have a lunch date with just my lola and I but uncle entered the picture so yeah its all good tho. I bought my lola a red rose and then took her out for lunch. I didnt buy her chocolates or cakes for she doesnt have a sweet tooth. I feel so good inside knowing that I made her (and uncle) happy! I ordered lots of food for them and we were all so full leaving my wallet empty lol but thats ok. I also texted my mom and my bros who are in other parts of the world a valentine greeting. Thats the least thing I could do. I miss them so much and its been so many valentines days that they were not with me. I also went out with two of my friends Meriam and Sarah tonight. I havent seen both of them in a few months even if we attend the same school. Good timing I seen them both at a restaurant and joined them. We catched up on each other and chit chatted. I also seen my former high school friend chic at the mall. I havent seen her in a long time too and I missed her so much. We talked about a lot of things and Im very glad that I seen her today on a valentine day. Oh and btw there were lots of ppl at the mall too all the cakes at pastry shop were sold out. These ppl were going wild buying flowers, chocolates, sweet nothings and cakes for their loved ones it was crazy!

What Ive learned today is that, its better to give than to receive. Its an awesome feeling to know that with the little and simple efforts you do for your loved ones you can put a smile on their face. I think Im the opposite of some of the girls out there who bitch about not receiving anything on valentines day. Even if I didnt have a valentine date or even if I didnt receive anything from anyone I dont feel any bitterness inside..maybe sadness yeah..but not much. Oh well, I will get pass this and all this valentine fit will go away. Its feb 15 in the midnight to where Im at now so yeah no more valentine hustle for me lol yaaay! Apparently my throat kinda feels weird..it hurts when I swallow I dont know whats wrong with it. This is prolly because I had too much sweets today lol I hope it gets better when I wake up this morning. Tomorrow is another day may the Lord God guide and bless me and my loved ones!
